You cannot destroy the enemy you cannot see.

In order to eliminate the enemy, the existence of the enemy must be acknowledged.

WOMENEMIES: And How To Eliminate Them identifies and discusses the common ways women are enemies, or womenemies, to each other and sets guidelines to eliminate their existence.

The term womenemies has universal appeal as the book highlights issues many women experience with each other (gossip, the other women, mother-in-laws, etc.) all over the world.

Womenemies should be read for yourself, your mother, your wife, your friend, your daughter, your female colleagues, and for that woman you haven’t met yet who will need your uplifting, support and friendship.

Once you’ve read it, you’ll want to share it with all the women you know, who will all wonder why this wasn’t available before they started out on the journey called womanhood. Marilena speaks from the heart in her tell-all about conflict between women. Through a series of personal stories and lessons learned, Marilena encourages women to lift each other up rather than tear each other down — a message worthy of all our attention.

  3. Meraki

Womenemies is a superbly written book about exposing & removing all women enemies from your life. The author talks about how society embraces female drama and how we women need to come together instead of bringing each other down. Many of the events in the book were relatable to my own life. Womenemies provides valuable lessons that will help women increase overall happiness & to live your best self. I recommend this powerful book to all women!!!

  4. Demetra Markopoulos

Through her life experiences, Marilena conveys clear and important messages about recognizing toxic relationships, learning from them, and the power we have as women to build each other up and support one another. So many of the stories resonated with me- they weren’t simply life lessons, I could relate. This book illustrates a set of guidelines to unify women so we, in turn, elevate each other. For together we can achieve greatness.

  5. Marnette Lewis

It all begins with an ideI bought this for my wife and she couldn’t put it down! She found the stories relatable and the advice practical and timely. I highly suggest you run (don’t walk) to grab this book. This author is one to watch out for!

  6. Anastasia Laskaris

A great book, very easy to read, entertaining but at the same time very useful. As much as our society claims to have overcome certain archaic treatment of women, many of them remain and make life (especially for women) difficult. This books specifically discusses how women are enemies to each other. The tips to overcome them, given by the author are simple, applicable and effective! I highly recommend this book.

It’s sad we women need these kinds of books, but I couldn’t find fault with anything this woman wrote, and I have to admit I was fully expecting to be disappointed. I was expecting a book full of how to elbow women in the ribs to decimate female enemies before they destroy you…. But it’s about treating other women with respect and keeping it classy.

The thing is men do stick together, they fade into the background… Think of the difference between gary Snyder and Casey Anthony. How many children did Snyder hurt as opposed to how many Anthony was accused and acquitted of hurting?

  8. Aleksey Lazaryev

Really enjoyed reading this book. It has a simple, yet practical message to women about how to maintain and sustain relationships with each other. Oftentimes, women and men for that matter resort to gossip for all the wrong reasons which ultimately becomes destructive in meaningful relationships they have worked to build over long periods. It’s a nice, short read and highly recommend it for men and women as these rules/guidelines outlined in the book transcend gender.

Ladies of all ages, This is the book you’ve been waiting for whether you knew it or not!
In this book, Marilena teaches us how not to be a womenemy – which is pretty much like a woman who intentionally or unintentionally hurts other women- and how to have more compassion towards each other. In society and within our families we are often taught how to treat our men but rarely do we learn how to love and respect our sisters. If women could reduce the unnecessary and unhealthy competition, they could use that energy to build trustworthy, lifelong relationships.
The “womenemy” drama Marilena describes is pretty much the same drama most women find themselves in regardless of which side they are on. She gives us real life examples of complications she has dealt with and teaches us how to overcome them.
This book makes a great gift for all the special women in your life- you’ll probably have tighter bonds after reading and laugh quite a bit too!

  17. Dean Sarris

To be honest I got forced into reading this book by my significant other and went in very pessimistic, but then came out sincerely surprised and excited by the overall message to this societal problem, which I have and do witness often even from the male perspective. I never really bothered to examine how/why women make enemies of one another so often and oftentimes quickly under the worst circumstances. I feel like most’s mindset and life will function so differently once employing the insightful, positive and smart rationale that’s well-illustrated through this book’s story. Very solid read!

  18. Amazon Customer

I couldn’t put this book down. It was as if the author was describing some exact events I’ve gone through. Why women are our worst critics and our harshest “friends”… She gave me a new perspective on my friendships and possibly why some friendships haven’t lasted. Buy this book for your girlfriend, wife, sister, friend, mother. It is a must read and perfect for a few afternoons, you won’t put it down.

  19. Michael Levitt

Marilena does a wonderful job sharing stories of her past, and applying them to lessons for women (and men!) to follow, to be more supportive of each other, and not “Womenemies” The book brings you along a journey of real-life examples that happen in so many offices and in life, and provides concrete steps on how to behave better and support one another.

  20. Johanna

I loved this book for so many reasons! It definitely hits way different when you have actually met the author! This book makes great points on society’s warped views and misconceptions on women in general! But it also highlights how we as women can and should do better for each other as well as ourselves! We can all relate to one or more parts of this book! #Womenemies #Supporyourfellowwoman

  21. Doxa Chatzopoulou

Brings to the surface issues that are hard to confront in many different life scenarios– and provides an outlet through rich and very personal experiences. Each chapter touches on very different themes that will resonate with readers. Marilena’s genuine spirit, humanity and humor make this a highly enjoyable read and a helpful tool for everyone.

  22. Karen Briscoe

Achieve a higher level of success in business and life by implementing these strategies. The stories really bring home the message in both an inspirational and informational style. Karen Briscoe, author and podcast host 5 Minute Success
